Behavior

At the beginning of the school year classroom rules and expectations are set with the students' help.

The rules include:

Respect yourself and others.

Follow directions the first time given.

Keep your hands, feet, and other objects to yourself.

Raise your hand when you would like to speak.

Be prepared and organized.

These rules and guidelines are expected to be met on a daily basis.  If a child chooses not to follow the rules, there are clear-cut consequences which include a warning, a time out, a phone call home, and a referral. There are also weekly rewards for students who are following the rules and guidelines in the classroom!
